This anti-smoking advert cuts pretty close to the bone, comparing terrorism deaths to smoking related deaths since 2001. Whatever way you look at it though, 30,000,000 is a shocking number in 7 years. I’d love to see some other comparisons also, how about deaths from heroin and deaths from alcohol, air accidents and motorway deaths compared, and bird flu deaths and flu deaths in the third world. Sometimes a sense of perspective can be a powerful thing.
