The NEW "As easy as 123" upper-arm monitor,
which was featured in the Daily Mail's Health Section is already
proving to be hugely successful - but why?
Microlife commissioned in-depth research into what users really wanted from a blood pressure monitor. Here's what we found:
- 72% of the blood pressure monitor market is made up of people over 60 years old.
- 58%
of the people in this age group questioned gave the main reason for not
buying a blood pressure monitor as ... 'it would be too complicated for
me to use once I got it home'.
We decided that we'd design and offer a new monitor that gave the consumer what they really wanted:
- Ease of use
- Accuracy
- Reliability
- Quality
... and a price they could afford!
(1) Simply attach the soft upper-arm cuff and press the one large
single start button to begin the automatic measurement. (2) Sit quietly
for 30 seconds while the measurement is being taken. (3) Simply read
off your blood pressure and pulse rate from the large clear screen.
It's as simple as that!
This monitor is also on the British
Hypertension Society's recommended list of accurate devices for home
use, being A/A grade.
